With
the boom of the internet resellers, you can find some "killer" prices
out there. You've heard the old saying, "If it sounds to good to be
true, it probably is" - well, keep that in mind.
Here's some information you NEED to know:
|
1.
|
Most of the
Professional/Commercial Manufacturers require a reseller be AUTHORIZED to
sell their product. This is to ensure that whoever is selling these things
have the knowledge to help you with your purchase and provide end-user
support.

|
2.
|
Many manufacturers specify what is
called “MAP” price. This means “Minimum Advertised Price.” This is the lowest
price any reseller is able to advertise a product for sale. If it’s advertised
for lower – there’s a problem! This can mean several things – mostly that the
person selling the product isn’t authorized to do so.

|
When a seller sells a product they
aren’t authorized to sell, this will assuredly cause the warranty to be
voided. See – getting what you pay for.

When prices are to low to believe –
you may be getting duped into thinking you’re getting something that you’re
not. Obviously, some products can be “knock offs” which mean they are not
really what they say they are… but what we’re most concerned with here is
that you won’t be getting what you’re SUPPOSED to get. For example: We’ve
found some online stores out there that have incredibly low prices on
projectors. Low and behold – the reason they can sell these projectors so low
is because they removed the lamp, case and cables from the product. When you
get your projector, it won’t work!! You then have to buy a lamp (often
costing $500+) and if you need the accessories that were supposed to come
with the projector – you’ll also have to buy those separately. This will make
your purchase more expensive and more hassle than you ever intended. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THE SELLER WHAT COMES IN THE BOX BEFORE YOU BUY!
